If you have a node-locked (dongle-free) license, you may deactivate the license on one machine and transfer it to another on your own. This is a process we call 'rehosting'. Both machines should be within your same company or organization. It is not possible to transfer license to another company or organization.

You will need to be connected to the internet for this process.
 
1. Run Start-> New Eagle -> New Eagle License Viewer
 
2. Click the Gear icon.
 
3. Click Rehost, follow the directions, copy down your 8 digit code.
 
4. On the new machine open the New Eagle License Viewer
 
5. Click the Gear icon.
 
6. Click the 'Complete Rehost' button, enter your name and the 8 digit code from step #3.

Requesting a Node Locked License

1. Create an account at software.neweagle.net

2. Notify New Eagle Support (support@neweagle.net) to be added to a software product

3. Login to software.neweagle.net

4. Select the product you want to download (top right corner)

5. Click the download button to navigate to download page

6. Download the latest release of the software

7. Install the software

8. Run Start-> New Eagle -> New Eagle License Viewer

9. Click Request License

10. Enter Name and Email Address, Hit Send.

11. Wait for New Eagle to issue license. An e-mail will be sent to let you know

12. Run Start-> New Eagle -> New Eagle License Viewer

13. Click ‘Update License Online’
