Kvaser develops interfaces and data loggers for any flavor of CAN (controller area network) and CAN-related buses to meet customer system requirements. The Kvaser USB to CAN devices are the approved products of MotoHawk. Kvaser tools are easy to use, accurate and state-of-the-art. Rigorous quality assurance and control processes for both hardware and software ensure that Kvaser delivers a user-friendly and up-to-date tool. Kvaser products are recommended for use with MotoHawk applications because they are all compatible, whereas other tools are not guaranteed to be compatible. Kvaser products are also very cost-effective. The Kvaser USB to CAN cables are compatible with USB 3.0 ports, but not with USB 1.0 or eSATA ports.


Kvaser's hardware interfaces can be used throughout the product cycle for development, simulation, testing and other maintenance of CAN networks and related hardware. All Kvaser hardware is designed to perform at their optimum in industrial or automotive temperature ranges, while some is specifically ruggedized to endure the most hostile of environments.

Memorator Light HS

Designed for troubleshooting any CAN-based system, the Kvaser Memorator Light HS is an easy-to-use tool for logging serial data with no pre-configuration or software setup required. With an autobaud function that determines CAN bus bit rate, the Kvaser Memorator Light can be attached to any high-speed CAN bus without configuration. All CAN bus traffic is logged in a circular buffer, overwriting the oldest data when the buffer becomes full. A separate circular buffer keeps track of error frame conditions and the message traffic that occurs near the conditions.

Kvaser offers third-party software for analysis, simulation, calibration, debugging and more. Developers can download software and start developing around any Kvaser interface right away.

CANKing

CANKing is a CAN bus monitor and general-purpose diagnostic tool. It is especially suited for interactive development work. CAN messages can be easily sent and the corresponding impact on the target module observed. To use CANKing, it is necessary to purchase one of our CAN interfaces such as the Kvaser Leaf USB to CAN converters. It is a free software that comes with the Kvaser product. This product allows the user to see all CAN messages on the bus in either decimal or hexadecimal form. It also allows the user to send out simple test messages.

Raptor-CAN
