Supervisory Controller

Supervisory Control Software

New Eagle has created a software template to enable rapid electric vehicle development. It is designed to interface with a variety of EV components and serves as a solid foundation for
future development. The software includes validated startup/shutdown sequencing, torque management, component control, and diagnostic strategies. It is available for either the Raptor or
MotoHawk tool chain, and New Eagle will work with the customer to specify an appropriate controller based on the customer requirements. New Eagle offers two options for providing the EV
supervisory software template:

New Eagle Maintains Code

In the first option, New Eagle will customize the template according to customer requirements. Source code is kept and maintained by New Eagle. Typically, the software and calibration
modifications require additional support from New Eagle in the form of an engineering contract. This option also includes a software license fee in any production supply agreement.

Customer Maintains Code

In the second option, the customer purchases and receives the template source code (this includes the project directory and MATLAB® Simulink® files). With the appropriate licenses, the
customer can modify and customize the source code per their requirements. If desired, New Eagle can provide additional development assistance with an engineering contract.

GVM 142
The GVM 142 is Parker's newest motor designed for electric and hybrid vehicle applications. It includes a 142 mm frame size with an SAE A adapter mount.

he Bel Power Solutions 350INVCHGT150-120-240-8G is a 15 kW inverter/charger that converts AC to DC voltages in charge mode and converts DC voltages to pure sine wave AC in standalone or utility mode. Axiomatic Isolated 24Vdc/24Vdc Converter
The DC-DC Converter provides clean 24VDC power suitable for instrumentation and control networks or process equipment. For operation under the most harsh and demanding conditions, the unit is fully sealed and enclosed to protect against moisture, shock and vibration. Power from a battery or other source in the range of 11-32VDC is converted to a 24VDC output regulated to 1%. Input and output isolation is provided. The unit is designed with extremely rugged surge and transient suppression in addition to sustained over/under voltage protection. With a 24V input, the nominal nameplate rating is 120 Watts of output power. With a 12V input, the nominal nameplate rating is 95 Watts of output power. Ovartech DC-DC

EV/HEV DC/DC Converter 1.5KW/1500W
The Ovartech range of DC/DC Converters are suitable for a wide range of electric powered vehicles and are specifically designed to be fitted on-board the vehicle and connected permanently to the battery. This range of High Voltage DC/DC products are designed to satisfy the current trend to use higher battery voltages between 108Vdc to 800Vdc which are converted to lower voltages to power ancillary loads. Options include nominal 12Vdc output, with exact output voltage set using a CAN communications command.

The products can satisfy a range of power requirements from 1kW to 12kW (when paralleled only). The High Voltage DC/DC range is designed to offer full performance across the temperature range of -40˚C to +45˚C (air cooled) and +65˚C (liquid cooled). It has many protection features such as input UVLO, input OVLO, input reverse polarity, current limit, output short circuit and over temperature. The CAN communications features allow the units to be enabled and disabled with communications messages.

Raptor VeeCAN 800

A larger option to the VeeCAN 320 EV Display is the Raptor VeeCAN 800. This device is not pre-programmed with EV display software like VeeCAN 320 EV Display; however, users can choose to develop display software themselves using Raptor-Dev or hire New Eagle to develop custom display software for their application.

The VeeCAN 800 is a 7" fully waterproof resistive touchscreen display. It features a WVGA 800 x 480 TFT LCD color display and two USB ports (one rear and one front accessible). The VeeCAN 800 also supports 14 analog inputs, four digital inputs, eight outputs, two CAN connections, as well as an Ethernet connection.
